The UAE football association delegation heads for Muscat today to attend the UAE clash against Syria on the opening day of the AFC U-22 Cup finals there. The delegation is headed by Obaid Salem Al Shamsi, UAEFA vice-president and chairman of the national teams committee, Rashid Ali Al Zaabi, board member and deputy chairman of the national teams committee, Adnan Al Talyani, committee member, Mutrif Al Shamsi, senior national team manager, engineer Mahdi Alim head coach of the senior national team and Abdul Qader Hassan, director of the national teams committee.
Meanwhile the Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the AFC U-22 Cup finals launched a logo entitled ‘Come on boys’ to motivate the national teams which are taking part in the inaugural edition of the championship that has been created by the continent’s football governing body. The said logo was displayed at the hotels and venues of the completion.
